6. Good timing.
I know little about Kohl, but i can see that he's near the natural end of his prime. Given the political backlash in Wisconsin that is roiling this year in the wake of a Republican flood, the liklihood that he will be replaced by another Democrat is very great.

Russ Feingold is indeed one good choice, but I'm sure there are many other good candidates in that mid-western union stronghold. Whoever emerges the candidate, I'd say they already have plenty of footage available for "opposition campaign" commercials.
