32. How is it that a person with the name "Media Lies Daily"...
...can so completely ignore the fact that Nader's role in the 2000 coup was cosmetic, at best?

You DO remember that the media - you know, the same media you rightly state lies daily - concluded that Gore still won the election, and then promptly buried that news in the back pages of the few rags it reported it in - overshadowed by the news of the Rockaway plane crash in New York, I might add?

Gore still won the election. Which means that blaming Nader is pointless, because Gore never lost in the first place!

I know you to be brilliant on many other points, but your desire to pin the illegal theft of an election that Gore won (even with Nader's run) on Nader is not one of your better moments.

Fact is, Nader ran, and Gore still won, and the election was stolen. We can hate Nader for any number of reasons, but he did not cost Gore the election. No matter how pissed you might be at Nader for running now (which I understand), that doesn't mean it's right to blame Nader for the Coup. His run may have made it easier to disguise the theft, but it was still a theft.
