59. It's just human nature to dislike this level of intrusion
1 - People don't trust scanning machines, even if the radiation is purported to be safe.

2 - People don't like to have their personal space invaded at the best of times. More so, when that includes areas on or near the sexual organs. This is especially true for the practice of patting down children.

3 - People take umbrage at the routine implication that they are traitors and criminals.

4 - People can't help but feel that their rights are being violated, since they were told for decades that this sort of treatment was the hallmark of a police state.
