144. I watched the news conference intently...
Obama has pivoted right, what he is failing to realize is that by capitulating to the Right instead of defending his own stated liberal principles, policies and ideas is going to hurt the entire Democratic party. This "country is center right", notion comes from this very type of reaction of the "Most Liberal President Ever".... , the illusion that the rightwingers painted was that Obama was a far left radical, socialist, some even said Marxist and it stuck. Obama in truth was a centrist bipartisan that was already a little further right then I prefered but I had hope.

I had much hope that Obama would be and could be the one to communicate the truth of liberal positions effectively much like Raygun had communicated the conservative positions effectively for his base.

This country is not center right it is center common sense, it is center what works, it is center leave people alone in the privacy of their homes and lives and decisions, it is center respect all human beings and it is center take care of the planet.

Now we have to go back to the drawing board.
