after much pedaling and effort, they come to the top of the hill, which initially didn't seem so steep.

At the top, the man in the front, a Dem, says "Wow, that sure was a steep hill to bicycle up!"

The man in the back, a Republican, says "Yes it was. And we might have rolled down it if I hadn't had the brakes on all the way!"
