If a weak candidate like Harry Reid (whom incidentally, I dislike) is pulling ahead due to public repulsion of extremist Teabag candidates, it can't be anything but good news for Demos. Having said that, it still looks like a bloodbath for us. Still, demographics are on our side for the long haul. A mantra and platform of taxbreaks for the wealthy can only take you so far. I wish Democrats would pound on the public about how it's Republicans who are obstructing caps on the amount of damages oil companies have to pay out for disasters such as the one on the Gulf. But, are they? Noooo. Of course not.
