and, yes, I consider the First Lady to be such, they'd probably prefer that the questioner be a genuine journalist, rather than a seven year old kid too clueless not to rat out her mother.
That had to be damned awkward for Michelle, that's my only explanation as to why she didn't defend the President. If a reporter had phrased a question in the same way, she'd have been all down his/her throat.
