Do you have template arguments on index cards? Did any of that have anything to do with what I actually wrote? I keep getting an image in my mind of this argument. I am talking to you, but you are blindfolded and facing slightly to the right of me. You are shaking your fists in the air at nobody and spouting...about Rush Limbaugh? First you accuse me of having a bug in my ass about PETA, and now you have me on the side of...Rush Limbaugh? :rofl:

I would try to explain the analogy to you a third time, but I am not in the mood for a treatise on Sean Hannity, as I try not to pollute my brain with any menton of right-wing talk radio rot. I will point out gently, though, that you STILL have not comprehended the analogy, which was fairly simple and had nothing to do with attacking PETA. I would try to explain it a third time, but I worry that I will hit the "on" button for another canned tirade. Mentioning Saudi Arabia triggered the equivalency with fundie Christians, mentioning PETA triggered Limbaugh, apparently. I am tempted to mention Walmart or Olive Garden, just to see what comes out.

Enjoy your terror and outrage, my friend. I don't think the Baptists will be stoning anyone soon, but I will keep alert for that. FWIW, I have written my share of posts expressing dismay and anger at the role of the Christian right in US politics. But some of us are capable of being outraged by the dog status of women in Saudi without the knee-jerk and disingenuous attempt to equate the two.
