... the Chinese high speed network is fairly unproven. Unlike the Japanese/French/German/Spanish networks.
I for one won't be willing to risk a ride in a Chinese train, if they have enough hard time making plastic toys as it is.
Why on earth would we subsidize our biggest international competitor which is positioning itself to challenge our international influence and position?
