3. Your exactly right..
I find it quite hilarious that America and Americans in general are often portrayed as a bunch of racist rednecks by European media. The truth is, our melting pot is FAR superior to anything going on in Europe and probably anywhere in the world. We've had our bad periods and ups and downs, but it seems to me that Americans are FAR less xenophobic than Europeans.

Oh yeah, xenophobia and outright racism seems to be on the rise in Europe. I do believe the Swiss just added a ban on Minarets to their constitution - 57% of them voted for that.
