at the expense of the good of the welfare of the people of this country.
Do you notice how there's rarely any debate on whether we can afford ANYTHING the military asks?
Do you want obsolete toys that may have worked in a 1940s-type conflict, but don't address the types of conflicts we're currently involved in? No problem.
We realize that our occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq have done nothing to make the world more secure. What's that? You want more troops? No problem.
People like Sen. Lugnut are insecure about their manhood--or lack of it. So, they deal with it by advocating unlimited spending on military weapons.
And the hell with costly things like universal healthcare.
