53. He needs a "straight man"
All he says is true and everyone knows it. But this is the political world and if he doesn't want to just get "written off" in the way Waters and Kucinich are at times, I think he needs a straight man. Some other Dem.... established and high profile, that maybe clicks their tongue a little and then AGREES COMPLETELY WITH EVERYTHING HE SAYS. Y'know, a sorta "crazy but truthful relative...we love him but what a character!" act.

Don't get me wrong. The guys is a breath of fresh air here on the liberal side of the planet. He has yet to tell a lie, that I can see even if he's "playing the Repug game" as far as rhetoric goes. More power to him! It's just because he's a new Congressman, it'd be VERY advantageous for the entire party for an older established Dem to support him in a more conventional way.... without backing down to the now annoying to everyone Republican whining. I think of my scenario as a way for the whole Dem party taking advantage of his courage without looking schizoid.
