It's probably too early to make any real conjectures on the whole Brewster Jennings thing and what that means for the whole Scooter libby / Valerie Plame case, but it would appear that perhaps both the theory of the outing of Plame was to get revenge on Joe Wilson and the counter theory that it was more to shut down Brewster Jennings at that time might be called into question now as part of an elaborate scheme to cover up what Grossman did.

Conversely it could also be something like Brewster Jennings being a more visible disinformation effort, and that Brewster Jennings was just a front for Plame's doing other work in a more active and still secret group at the time of her outing. If this is the case, then perhaps there is a concern of how much we should expose from a national security standpoint, but then again, with her outing, etc. the question is how do we keep those involved accountable so that the aren't doing evil things too, or if Brewster Jennings was really a victim of some treasonous actions by Grossman.

Similar speculation is hard not to make and wonder about in the case of Larry Franklin and the AIPAC spies and allegations of anti-semitism, etc. going on there. Seems still too much like there's a ot being covered up that shouldn't be. From today's Washington Post...
