So I will say it again because you seem to have missed the pith: the Mexico outbreak is KILLING THE WRONG DEMO. It is killing young, healthy adults. Normal flu leaves them alone. THIS flu specializes in them. The entire world, except you, is scared BECAUSE THIS IS THE PANDEMIC DEMO.

And here's another fun fact someone at DU dropped yesterday: the 1918-19 pandemic came in three waves: mild in summer, then progressively more deadly in fall and then winter. THAT's what health officials know and you don't.
