55. one of the best cars i have ever owned...72 formula 400
400 cubic inches,4 barrel,open hood scoops and side pipes. sounded like a sprint cat and handled like one. one thing it could`t do was go over a 110 because the car would start to lift. i guess that`s why the trans am had vents in the fenders.

at 55 mph it made 15 miles to the gallon over that around 10-12. gas was 60ct and i was making over 10 an hour....
