101. I used to be a staunch pessimist.
I've rebounded a bit lately.

You were right to point out the cold reality that this potential cure is, exactly that: Potential. Also that it will be many years off, and very expensive, and when approved, will remain 'experimental' for some time for insurance purposes, and on and on and on. Totally right.

But I believe we have the capacity to learn, and improve, and that things are getting better. It's taking time, and it's hard to see in this crushing, and getting worse, economy... but it's coming.


I used to think that as a pessimist, I was the best person in the room equipped to deal with any problem.. but I see now that I can still be practical, without making everyone depressed. :hug:
