We just endured eight horrible years of two Texans at the helm (despite changing his residency to Wyoming just prior to accepting the VP nomination, Cheney was a texan). We watched a texan lead us into an unnecessary war based on a lie, run up a $5trillion bill for it, squander a surplus and let an American city drown.

But no one on the Left came close to saying anything like this. No one called for vermont or new York or California to break away from Dubya to make a point.

Not any Democratic official. Not any antiwar group. Not even Michael Moore.

The difference is we can accept being out of power, but work to make this country better.
They simply throw a fit, act like they're entitled, declare the opponent illegitimate and throw a tantrum - and don't care id the U.S. breaks up as a result.

They hate their country. they love power.

They just threw away any claim of being patriotic when one of their top elected party members invoked secession. And to be from texas, of all places. the arrogance is astounding.

Don't let them backpeddle. Raise this issue come election time.

Throw this in the face of every rightwinger you have to deal with. They are, in reality, every horrible straw man they built to demonize progressives and liberals.
