It is hoped that the slow decline of the dollar will narrow the gap.But and it's a big but We import so much stuff from China that if they continue to peg the yuan to the dollar then we will see no big advantage there. I think some heavy arm twisting must be going on behind the scenes. China has made vague promises about correcting the x rate but it seems to allude to later rather than sooner
