I've seen some ugly things and I'm sorry to say, you're absolutely correct. Sometimes the only thing that stops these guys is the police and their ability to put the abuser down.

You make a good point about the different types of abusers.

The hardcore stalker/murderers are truly blood-chilling to see in action. These people belong in jail.
