Here are my words: "I think it is disgusting that people would even think that this should destroy his career."

Here are yours: "I think that what you meant to say was that it is shocking that a semi-harmless drug that hurts nobody else should hurt his career."

So how is what I said different than what you think I meant to say?

No offense but you should read my words before you attack because I never said what you wrote in your first paragraph, but I did say what you thought I meant to say.
