And while they do get paid comparatively less than they can make in the private sector, they still make enough to get by. And even with the ban on lobbying the White House, they are still plenty marketable for six and seven figure jobs once they are done working in the administration.

People who are on the White House senior staff don't do it for the money, they do it for the honor and the glamor. If he were freezing civil service pay then I would be concerned. But it's just the White House senior staff.
