During an election which favored Democrats by an overwhelming margin, IF Franken wins, it is by the smallest of margins.

He will start his term knowing that he has to do better,or he will be a one-term Senator.

Sure, I would be overjoyed if Coleman is defeated. Coleman is a snake even as bad as Bush, in my opinion. Seeing Coleman leave would give me a super smile, even if it was by one vote.

But this does not change the fact that Franken ran a pxxx poor campaign, and if this was not a year with overwhelming Democratic advantage, he would have lost in a landslide to Coleman the snake.
