I've been disgusted by the energy expended on the Janet Jackson matter, to say nothing of the other tabloid fodder you mentioned. I wish some of the righteous indignation expended on Janet Jackson's flesh had been employed in a more noble cause.
But prurient stories are supposed to sell newspapers and win ratings for radio and TV. And the soulless corporate media slings it all our way.
Let's FIGHT BACK.
