5. Yep. I saw this happen last time where I vote. The city clerk sends your ballot
back to your polling place. After the polls close, a poll worker stands in line for you. They open the ballott, and if everything is correct, feed it into the scanner. It's often a simple question that if the person were there, they could clear it up. If they are not there, the ballot gets trashed.
