I get it about Bush and the problem of Cheney and Pelosi becoming President, all of those things are possibly politically disastrous - especially in the time left.

But Rove's contempt of congress has nothing to do with that. Turd Blossom is literally telling congress to kiss his fish-belly-white ass. He should be in jail. No issue of executive privilege exists as he has said over and over he had no discussions with the President. And even if they did you STILL have to show up to say you are asserting the privilege. Harriet Miers should be behind bars as well.
