Spitzer should stand his ground.
Irrespective of the nature of Spitzer's or Cheney's own conduct, the public isn't fooled when the media amplifies the Spitzer case and chills the Vitter/Cheney DC Madam case - in face, the public learns a little more just what kinds of politics is really going on in these media conglomerates' executive boardrooms.
