Of course, many of the consumers so "informed" will not be able to do anything about it anyway, so just like now, they'll have to EAT whatever the credit card companies want to FEED them.
How friggin' anemic. And they have the nerve to call it the "Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights". I guess that will show the population once and for all who's going to bat for the working men and women of this country.
And that, friends, is why the Democratic Party needs to go back to its base. What we really need to do is to cut these predatory companies off at the knees. Remember, these so-called "contracts" are not that at all. In a "contract", each party can negotiate, and can refuse terms up front (not just say no when the other party unilaterally CHANGES the CONTRACT).
