12. Most Rental Car Agencies Won't Rent You a Car Without a Credit Card
Hotels want huge deposits, and you are likely to get the extra search treatment at the airport if you pay cash.

Since the travel industry and the oil companies like plastic, let them eat plastic.
I pay it off every month anyway.
