is, I am sure, his defense. Just like "God" told him to attack the Taliban and strike Iraq.

What's so scary to me is that the Fundie discourse is so mainstream now (though Fundie's are still a distinct minority) that it is somehow acceptable for the President to rely on "God's advice" for foreign policy. I'm thinking of a recent link (about a week ago) to an interview in which Bush said God told him to attack Afghanistan and Iraq.
