This WILL happen. Bank on it.

Why? Because nobody on either side of the political equation has the guts to build a case against it. Nobody of consequence will speak out against the preposterous, monstrous absurdity.

Our side has utterly failed to condemn this. Why? You and I know why.

The reason is that which dare not speak its name. It is the profound, unfathomable power which the right wing government of one single nation has over the Democratic party and -- via the neocon control of the * misadministration -- over the US government as well.

Our party leaders are powerless to speak out against an idiotic attack on Iran. Pure and simple.

The result is we will have another mindless intervention in Iran that can not possibly succeed in destroying its underground fissionable material processing facilities. We will again assault Iran, as we did in the 1953 coup against Mossadegh that pissed them off for 3 generations.

The moron in chief will regain substantial approval from this new shock-and-awe demonstration.

Iran will eventually have nukes. But as a result of this blunder, we will radicalize their moderates and wind up with a nuclear power profoundly pissed off at us.

The entire nation and the world will be the loser.

The Democratic party leadership has utterly failed in its responsibility to speak out against this horrible idea.

Our party must somehow find a way to break free from the all powerful control of AIPAC so it can speak truth to power on issues of war in the middle east.

We should not allow ourselves to be used as the puppet of any allied nation's right wing government.
