"WASHINGTON Mar 16, 2007 (AP) The White House dropped its contention Friday that former Counsel Harriet Miers first raised the idea of firing U.S. attorneys, blaming "hazy memories" as e-mails shed new light on Karl Rove's role. Support eroded further for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales."

Is this the most absent minded, forgetful administration ever? Scooter forgot things after 2 days. Gonzo and KKKarl can't recall if it was Harriet, hm....

In the words of Steve Martin from 1977, when faced with difficulty, you just need two little words: "I forgot!"
