29. I was pleased that she took time to thank the Iraqi doctors and nurses ...
Even though she was evidently rather stressed and embarrassed at having to make a speech in front of so many people. I wonder if the Iraqis who helped her, at great risk to their lives, will get anything from the US government?

I hope Ms. Lynch makes a speedy recovery from her injuries and can go to teachers' college soon. Neither she nor her parents seem to be intent on dragging this out and exploiting it for personal gain. (I suspect many of her colleagues are feeling this way too ... and probably more and more of them, as the occupation continues.)
