I'm not sure, but I have to keep trying. After 100's of volunteer hours, we won the election, that was a great start. But not if our own Congress doesn't listen. We can't stop for a minute!
On 27 January, there will be a peace and justice rally, calling for the end of the war, in Washington DC. Go there, let the numbers show we're not giving up
Back at home, you must see the documentary "The Ground Truth". This wrenching story of 16 Iraqi Vets hits too close to home. After seeing it, there was no doubt that I needed to add my voice to the hundreds of thousands calling for the end of this tragedy! If you do nothing else, you owe it to the troops that have served and are serving in Iraq, to listen to them, listen to their stories.
By the way, if you make it to DC, I'll be the 64 year old grandmother in the wheel chair. My grandaughter and I are making the trip by bus, maybe I'll see some of you from DU>
