16. Eh. It's just commodification of identity.
Somehow, someway. . . the republicans did well in having people buy their identity. Identities are commodities constructed by one's self, typically. They, like a bolt of cloth, can be bought and sold. *shrug* I hate to be the vulgar Marxist in this construction, but I believe this implicitly. I mean, you can honestly see the alienation from their fellow individuals that share the world with them.
