13. How Voting Works

C'mon guys. I thought everyone on this board had at least a bit of sense.

That nonsense about "voting green is not voting Republican" is exactly that...nonsense....


Since the Democrats are traditionally left of center if the Greens vote for their own party then they splinter the vote and it does not matter (as it did not in 2000) if 60% vote AGAINST Bush.

if 60% of the people vote AGAINST Bush and 40% vote FOR but the 60% is split into two 30% groups then the MAJORITY candidate would be BUSH.

I try never to insult anyone but ANYONE that does not see this logic (as numbers do not lie) is high on something. And not to disparage but Greens are usually the strongest advocates of legalizing weed so the evidence, however circumstancial is there.

Put the joint down long enough for math to make sense. If you want change you don't help the other party...you start with the party closest to your beliefs.
