I can't tell you how many people voted for Arnie in the recall election simply because he promised to roll back the car tax and give people a refund. Nothing to do with Davis. My sister voted for that reason - plus the fact that she hates unions. And yes, she is otherwise a dem voter. She and my husband will vote for him this time, too. Arnie is doing a great job at pretending to be a moderate these days, and he will undoubtedly win re-election.
