After I read your reply, I had to turn to inward reflection, and found that I still believe in the people...the heros...the cause...liberty...justice. Guess that I am still optimistic for the future. The breaking of this current system has to happen...it is riddled with rot from within.
"America lost her heart and sense of humaneness long ago." you say... I believe it was hijacked when people became complacent. I read all the posts on this messageboard and many others. America's heart is her people and the principals of her beginning and I read/see/hear that louder and louder as more and more people find their way to places like the Democratic Underground.
I do believe that we are on the edge of a cliff and that it will take a fall off that cliff to get some couch potatoes to wake up to what has been going on around them...
