What she has done in Iraq goes far over the line. Far beyond just putting positive spin for the Pentagon view.

She clung to chalabi as her source even when he and his info was discredited. That is bad. But not as bad as her, as a journalist, threatening military officers with "calling their superiors" (feith et al) at the Pentagon in an effort to dictate troop movement/mission. She left being a journalist at that time. Big rule - one reports the news one does not create it or become a part of it.

Thus, she, as a journalist (I think that term should here forward be used very tentatively with her) has completely discredited her recent body of work, and that leads to questions about past and future work. It is all about her - not the source.
