We took long rides (and Avoided Duval Street after the first day-not our style) for three days in a row.

The people were very nice. The communities were either being overbuilt or in a state of decay.

It was not the "quaint" island that it's marketed to be. I'm sure it was at one time (I've seen the photos and visited the historical center), but it seems to be in a bad period of transition.

Flagler Avenue was nice, but overrated. The cemetery was cool. My wife took lots of photos of the monuments.


We could have done all of the historical worthy stuff and scenery in one day.
