Those seem to have gone away, I guess since we were not carpet bombing German cities in 1948 the comparison doesn't hold much water anymore.

And I don't see the Happy talk announcements about how many schools we've built around much anymore. I wonder if any of those schools are in the target area. That would be just the sick cherry on the bloody cake yes? On top of the useless slaughter of people, the facial aspect of spending U.S. tax dollars to blow up buildings built by US tax dollars.

so how does this all square with the National Review's insistence that we're winning? Tossing bombs at insurgents implies to me at least that things are worse now than they were a year ago.
