public comments like these tend to push "fence sitters" (as in it doesn't effect me so I take no opinion) - over the edge - away from the crazy commentary.
Funny - says he is running as a dem b/c the it how he last voted (and the wording suggests that it has been awhile since he voted) - just can't see this dude as ever having voted of Sen Metzembaum - maybe he hasn't voted since Wallace ran for pres?
