I LOVE this part:

What a crock. So now he thinks it's "perfectly legitimate" to criticize his decision or the "conduct of the war"? My, my, my, isn't that big of him? How magnanimous! Gee, george, you sure restored my faith in your openness and generosity toward those who don't agree with you. Golly gee whiz.

It's actually george who's trying to rewrite history, both by spin AND by having White House transcripts "adjusted." Thank God some in the press corps took Snot McLIE-lan to task for that. I hope they don't give up on it, either.
