So, am I the only person who this has occurred to? DeLay sent the RNC $190,000, which the RNC promptly sent back, thus turning soft money into hard money. If this is true (tryin' to keep the innocent until proven stuff going here), then yeah, DeLay is guilty of breaking Texas campaign finance law and of laundering money.
But what about the RNC? They should also be charged with laundering money. Does this only hit one person or does it involve the organization more as a whole? Is the RNC now a criminal organization?
