The toppling of Saddam could NEVER be a legitimate reason for war in of itself.

To think that insomnia is a good reason to go to war! :sarcasm:

It's my understanding that Iran, Syria, Egypt and of course Israel have WMD stockpiles. What would stop some renegade general from letting some of those stockpiles go to terrorists? Evidently alot because George Bush says he sleeps well at night.

The saving of lives in the short term should be weighed against the long term resentment and radicalizing of the region. Just look at firestorm created by Bush's using the word "crusade" in his remarks. Talk about centuries of resentment! Release of the photos is a bitter pill to be swallowed, but like any medicine it needs to be taken for the long term health of the world.
