why does the suicide of a women who embezzeled a million or so- and was caught, confessed, and faces public humiliation and a long prison stretch seem to strike you as odd?...honestly?

She was the one with the keys to the cookie jar, and she took the money- and by the way, $1million over 5 years is not the kind of penny-ante stuff that jeb and the boys over at the BFEE would even concern themselves with...
her world was crashing down around her, and she decided that she didn't want to/couldn't take what was coming her way.
