That would work only if winning the election is all that matters, and not the issues involved. Clark has said over and again that we should carry on this war, Fallujah was the right thing to do, etc., etc. Dean said over and over we have to pull the troops out. Sure, they both have gumption, and that's admirable. I'd like to see some _Progressive_ democrats support Dean's gumption, however. Clark sounds just like Kerry: Sure, let's conquer the world, but let's do it efficiently and politely.
