Instead of three far-right judges, we'd have all seven, and hell on the horizon.


So we won't get the 7? How many will we get?

We will eventually get 7 new justices. The only question is will they be better or worse than the 7 we're now facing. Since there is now a standard of reasonableness for a filibuster that did not exist before, I think the quality of the nominees will decline.

I presume that McCain would have voted for the 7 original nominees, If so, there's no need to present better nominees in the future.

There's no reason to celebrate blockage of some of these 7 unless you're sure there aren't worse candidates available. I think there are and I think we'll meet them soon.
