42. I also "forgot" until 1996 at age 39
when my biological father tried to sleep with me, again. I'd always been told I was "imagining" things, so let it go for years, believing I just had too vivid an imagination and the things I was remembering were "false". I actually thank God he tried again, it confirmed what I always knew. I had visited him and my stepmother in 1988 and my half sister had a deadbolt on her bedroom door? WTF? It gnawed at me for years until the perv tried in 1996. Thank God I was raised away from this animal.

I tried to reach out to my sister, but she refuses to speak to me anymore. My heart goes out to her for what she must have suffered at his hands.

I just tell myself he's a very sick man and something must have happened to make him that way. I try to have compassion for him, but it's sooo hard. I haven't spoken to him since 1996 and don't intend to again, ever.

The FMS bunch can kiss my ass. Maybe some make things up for attention, but seriously doubt that it happens that much.

As you said, "It happened to me."

Thanks for sharing Two!
