Sanders is so "far out" that he's been repeatedly and comfortably elected (I believe statewide) for several terms. Bernie is one of the good guys and would make a fine addition to the Senate, though I hate to damn him with such faint praise.:evilgrin:
One more liberal/progressive is one more for the cause, regardless of whether he's an independent or a Dem.
