128. It could happen again
These Indonesian earthquakes may continue for some time. Back in the winter of 1811-12, the famous New Madrid earthquakes began;it was a series of the most powerful earthquakes ever to hit the continental United States and it went on for months. Indonesia is very seismically active as it is near the convergence of several tectonic plates.
